Description
Our client, one of the leading Service industry in UAE requires Payroll Accountant for their operations in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have at least 2- 4 years of experience in the said role or any related field.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for client employees;
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, budget and other departments of clients to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
• Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, travel, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
• Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, sickness, and nontaxable wages.
• Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employers social security, and workers compensation payments
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Ensure that all industry standards accounting laws are followed
• Send suggestions to the Director regarding the issues that affect the payroll accounts

Requirements
Experience: 3 years
Bachelor degree
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.
* Two-four years of experience in accounting
* Certificate in any professional accounting body would be an added advantage
* Have an eye for detail and accuracy.
* Good computer skills: MS Word, Excel, any Accounting software’s
* Mastery over numbers and being quick with numerical calculations
* Have a high level of integrity, as they will know about the earnings of many employees; confidentiality.
* Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
