PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – (Ref. 25051984)

Overview:
This role will be responsible for the conception, developing of jewelry lines in coordination with
Head of Jewelry Division and preparing products for presentation. A vital part will also include
managing design schedules and sampling stages, overseeing contacts with suppliers and various
another administrative project management tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manage timelines and communications across all departments to ensure schedules for product
introductions and manufacturing are met and adhered.
2. Communications clearly and effectively with overseas vendors.
3. Keep an up-to-date database in relation to status on products, collection volume and bestsellers.
4. Manages an entire line with emphasis on design and quality- Researchers existing and new trends
in the industry.
5. Contacts with Designers and Licencor Managers as well as in – house Brand Managers.
6. Seeking new reliable sources of vendors.
7. Researches past existing products to develop novelties.

Qualification / Education:
1. College degree is required.
2. Degree in Art, Studio Arts, Products or graphic Design is a plus.
3. 5 years+ experience in product development or jewelry designing, buying or merchandising in fast-
paced fashion environment.
4. An Individual with the knowledge of costume jewelry specifications is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong creative skills.
Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills – both verbal and written
Additional languages would be advantages.
Additional languages would be an advantage.
Strong work ethic and passion for jewelry and fashion trends.
Should be well versed in systems, primarily MS office and Photoshop.
Ability to work and troubleshoot in an extremely fast-paced environment,

Must be organized and very detail-oriented.
Self-motivated and result- printed.
Should be and effective Team player.
Occasional travel would be a part of this role.
