Credit Controller

We’re looking for a highly experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team based in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be reporting into the Chief Finance Officer and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts by debit notes resolution and proactive cash collection to terms and in a timely manner. Also oversee GL accounts transactions, coding, posting and reconciliation of accounts to ensure its compliance.
The qualified applicant must have a minimum of 7 to 8 years of relevant experience preferably in FMCG industries, as well as CMA/CPA certified with strong communication and presentation skills.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Communicate in an efficient with customers as well as the broader accounts and sales team for outstanding debts.
Develop the credit control system in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Executive Management.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
CPA, CMA is an added advantage.
7-8 years’ of experience in relevant roles, ideally worked in within an accounts receivable and/or credit control environment.
Good Internal Audit knowledge.
Strong understanding of GL accounts and reconciliation.
Strong query management (debit note) skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics or ERP based system is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
